An idea can turn to dust or magic, depending on the the talent that rubs against it” … Williams Bernbach
You’ll soon see that no two pieces are the same. Collaboration happened on most of these gallery pieces. Some started with just a simple question from the buyer to me like “could we make this or I have an idea for”. I’m happy to join together and create a piece of jewelry that is sentimental and thoughtful and totally unique. Once created we name each piece after who wears it or who we made it for. I love it when I can throw in a belt buckle or a bra strap slider or a solitary earring. I use a heavy gauge jump ring (hoop) to securely attach each item. It was so fun making all of these pieces. I love creating something new from items that were forgotten.
Original pieces are located in four Arizona shops: Campus Flowers in Tempe, CoCo Milano’s in East Mesa, Everybody Loves Flowers in Gilbert and Modern Day Forager Mercantile in Prescott.

She Dearly Misses Her Dad

This bridal bracelet was for a daughter in law Alicia. Her mom in law Belinda gathered treasures from family members and each item has significance. The watch is set to the time of the wedding, 4pm and the date May 31, 2014 dangles below. The anchor & globe represent Ben, the grooms’ family from Kansas. The blue button was worn by his great grandmother to his parents wedding and the Native American profile button represents both sides of Ben’s family. The mustard seed heart charm is from the grooms aunts as well as the watch, clear beads and a mini picture frame. There’s an earring and white floral bead from Ben’s maternal great grandmothers. The turquoise earring and gold heart centerpiece were from Ben’s maternal Grandmother Hoot. Last but not least are the gold heart charm and the heart on top of the cross charm. Those are Belindas’ and both were given to her from Ben’s dad Scott. The cross was given to Belinda on her 15th birthday. It’s with great happiness that Belinda shares these treasures with Alicia and she wishes them a long and happy life together.

For Bridgette from her bestie Cody

For Heather, Love Bev. The triple strand bracelet is adjustable with lobster claw options and the watch will be set to the tie of the wedding. There were two hand stamped charms created for this piece. One has the wedding date 9.21.13 and the H123S represents Heather & Stephen & the 123 is in honor of a personal tradition passed down thru three generations. It was code for “I Love You” created by Budd & Eleanor. They were married for over 65 years & when Budd went to WWII they wrote letters and on the back of each envelope was written 123 (meaning) I Love You. They continued to use the 123 throughout their lives. From phone numbers 1123, to license plate B123E, engraved on watches, written in concrete on sidewalks and they always kissed 3 times. They would tap each other 3 times on each others thumbs when holding hands…just to name a few ways. Budd and El are both gone but their tradition continues with their children, grandchildren, cousins, nieces & nephews. They left an amazing legacy of love.
