* When to pay for advertising

I'm almost at the one year mark & Ruby Mae Jewelry has been growing by leaps & bounds. New clients, new vendors, new events & now more media.
Last week was media driven with advertising options set before me. When & how should I advertise my business. What format & what budget.Social versus print versus internet.
I've learned to take my time on expensive decisions until I've given myself time to think it over, gather evidence & of course seek advice. I have go to mentors that are pretty patient with all my questions.
I added more content to my website & Thursday I gave an in depth interview to a respectable & hip magazine. Hopefully it will be out early May, just in time for the "Junk In The Trunk Vintage Market" May 5th at Westworld that I'll be a vendor at.
I talked a mile a minute and was proud to show off all my goodies.The reporter gasped when she walked into my work studio. I thought she might be claustrophobic but she was just delighted, saying she always wanted a work room like that.
I have so much stuff, everywhere my sister Amanda once said, "is this what the inside of your brain looks like"? I said, "umm, yes".
I've decided to wait on the paid advertising and move forward with more social and Internet free advertising. I'm pretty excited for this upcoming year. Changes, changes, & more changes. Love it.
